LULAC Invites the New Mexico Community to Attend the 2023 Career Fair and Expo

The three-day event will feature more than a dozen federal agencies offering more than 500 diverse job opportunities and positions on site.

ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO – (July 26, 2023) - The League of United Latin America Citizens (LULAC), the nation’s longest-standing and largest civic rights organization, invites the New Mexico community to attend the Career Fair and Expo during its 2023 National Convention & Exposition set to take place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, August 2 - August 4, 2023 at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

Under the theme "Saber es Poder" (Knowledge is Power), this year's convention and expo focuses on the unity and strength of the Hispanic community in the pursuit of prosperity. The Career Expo will feature more than 500 job openings and recruiters on site prepared to help them enter the workforce or elevate their career.

"We are proud to bring our job expo to the dynamic state of New Mexico, a beacon of our nation's future and a unique reflection of our culture’s rich and diverse population," said LULAC President Domingo Garcia. "This year, we are excited to be collaborating with more than a dozen federal agencies to provide more than 500 positions available on site, granting New Mexico's citizens with the chance to seize new career opportunities and forge a pathway to financial independence.

The 94th Annual LULAC National Convention and Exposition will take place simultaneously through August 4 at the Albuquerque Convention Center, headlined by LULAC leaders and featured speakers including Labor Leader and Activist Dolores Huerta, New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez, Congresswoman Veronica Escobar (D-TX 16th District), and Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller. It will also feature an annual Youth Convention, an extensive track of workshops designed to develop young people into impactful community leaders through positive educational experiences, social events, and civic activities.
